What we collect What you give us: name, phone, email, nationality, date of birth, passport number, your education history, the university and programme you are interested in, your budget, and the messages you send us.

Your application documents: passport, diploma, transcript, photograph and notarised translations.

From using the site: only if you agree — which pages you read, your language, your country, whether you are on a phone or a computer, and which site or advert sent you. We do not store your IP address.

Through our adverts: if you fill in one of our lead forms on Instagram or Facebook, Meta passes us the name, phone and email you provided there. We use it only to reply to you.

Why we collect it To reply to you and answer your question. To recommend a university and programme. To prepare your application and submit it to the university. To help with translation, notary, visa, residence permit and housing. To meet our legal obligations.

Legal bases: entering into and performing a service agreement, your explicit consent (for visit counting and marketing messages), and our legitimate interest.

Who we share it with The universities you apply to — the information and documents needed to assess your application.

Partner consultancy organisations we work with — only so your application can reach the relevant university.

Sworn translators and notaries — to translate and certify your documents.

Competent public authorities — migration authorities, consulates, and bodies legally entitled to request it.

We do not sell your data and we do not pass it to third parties for advertising.

Transfer abroad The universities and authorities are in Türkiye. Depending on where you are, your data is transferred to Türkiye; the service cannot be provided otherwise.

How long we keep it Your application file for as long as we are working together, and afterwards for the retention periods the law requires. If you only enquired and did not take the service, we keep the record for at most 24 months and then delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner.

Your rights You may access your data, correct it, ask us to delete it, object to processing, and withdraw consent. Write to maveraconsulting@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to the data protection authority.

Security The site runs over HTTPS, passwords are stored irreversibly, and your documents are held outside any publicly reachable area, accessible only to authorised staff. Please do not send documents through social media messages.

Children If you are under 18, we run the process with the knowledge and consent of your parent or guardian.

Changes When we update this text we change the date at the bottom of the page. For a significant change we will contact you separately.
